Theodor Bilharz Research Institute Launches "Prime Lab" Research Consultancy Initiative to Support Scientific Excellence and Deliver Distinguished Research Services

As part of its commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to supporting the state's efforts toward sustainable development and improving the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI) organized a comprehensive medical convoy to Tanash Village. The convoy was held under the patronage and in the presence of Professor Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Board, through the Institute’s Community Service and Environmental Development Committee, in cooperation with the Al-Gam’iya Al-Shar’iya Association in Tanash Village. This initiative reflects the Institute’s ongoing commitment to extending healthcare services to the most underserved communities.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Acting Director of the Theodor Bilharz Research Institute and Chairman of the Board, The Prime Lab announces that the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Institute is organizing an intensive 3-day practical training workshop in the field of cell culture.

Registered with the Ministry of Health and Population Theodor Bilharz Research Institute Clinical Research Center (CRC-TBRI) is the institute's clinical research arm. It conducts high-impact, ethically sound research that contributes to the advancement of medical knowledge, sets new standards for healthcare, and delivers tangible benefits to patients and society.

The first biobank in the Middle East and North Africa accredited by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) according to the international standard ISO 20387:2018. The Biobank Centre of Excellence at the Immunology Department, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute, proudly provides an integrated system for the collection, preservation, and management of human biological specimens following the highest international quality standards, supporting scientific research and innovation in the medical field.
