The event coincided with the celebration of World Hand Hygiene Day and witnessed broad participation from academic and medical leaders, infection control experts, representatives of the World Health Organization, and university hospitals.

Organized by the Clinical Nutrition Unit, headed by Dr. Marwa Abdel Ghany, Deputy Supervisor of the Unit, in collaboration with the General Surgery Department, headed by Dr. Hisham El-Meligy, the specialized scientific meeting aimed to highlight the latest medical practices supporting improved patient outcomes.
