Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Acting Director of the Theodor Bilharz Research Institute and Chairman of the Board, The Prime Lab announces that the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Institute is organizing an intensive 3-day practical training workshop in the field of cell culture.

Workshop Duration: 3 days

Registration Fee: 1000 Egyptian Pounds

 Workshop Topics:

• Fundamentals of cell culture and its applications

• Aseptic techniques and biosafety procedures

• Handling different cell types

• Cell thawing, counting, and viability assessment

• Cell passage and preservation

• Fundamentals of temporary gene transfer

• Preparation of cell extracts for protein analysis

• Cytotoxicity, anticancer, and antiviral tests

The workshop includes intensive practical training that enables participants to acquire the essential and applied skills necessary to work in the field of cell culture and modern biological research.
