Prof. Dr. Sanaa Sabet Botros, Professor of Pharmacology received the following awards:

1-State Awards

·        The State Incentive Award in Medical Sciences (Basic – Pharmacology) from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Egypt in1997.

·        The State Appreciation Award in Advanced Technological Sciences Serving Medical Sciences from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Egypt in 2015.

2- Regional Awards

·        The Arab Women Organization Award for Science and Technology in Biological Sciences in 2008.

·        The African Union Regional Award in Earth and Life Sciences in 2009.

·        The African Innovation Forum Award in the Field of Medicines and Diagnostic Tools in 2011.

3- International Recognition

·        She was Included in the Fourth International Directory of Distinguished Leadership, 1992, by the American Biographical Institute, Bur Oak Circle, P.O. Box 5126, P.O. Box 31226, Raleigh, North Carolina 27622, United States of America.

·        She was recognized by the Delegation of the European Union and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the valuable contribution to strengthening cooperation between the European Union and Egypt in the field of research innovation and higher education, November 2019, Egypt. Within the framework of the World Science Day for Peace and Development.

4- TBRI Awards

·        The Excellence Award from the Theodor Bilharz Research Institute for Innovation, Cooperation with International Organizations, and Good Governance in 2001.

·        The Certificate of Excellence from the Theodor Bilharz Research Institute on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee (1978-2003) in 2003.

·        The Theodor Bilharz Research Institute Appreciation Award in 2014.
