Prof. Ahmed El-Raie Awarded the French Order of Academic Palms
Prof. Ahmed El-Raie, Professor of Endemic Diseases, and Hepatogastroenterology, was awarded the French Order of Academic Palms with the rank of Knight (Chevalier).
The decoration was presented by the French Ambassador to Egypt, Marc Baréty, during an official ceremony held at the French Embassy in Cairo.
In his address, the Ambassador praised Prof. El-Raie's distinguished scientific career as a researcher and highlighted his fruitful scientific cooperation and partnership with French institutions, which have led to outstanding achievements in the fields of endemic diseases, gastroenterology, and hepatology. He also commended Prof. El-Raie's success in establishing a high-level scientific partnership between Egypt and France in liver disease research.
